About Me:
I have always been exposed to media ever since i was born. I started drawing at a young age and was creating story's every time i started playing. But eventually i was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer. Than from the hospital i started viewing the world trough the eyes of the media that was available to me. With a lack of outside things to do i started to think about the type of media i consumed more critically. Eventually i discovered psychology and its connection to media immediately became apparent to me. My goal is to eventually study the relationship that media has with the human mind, and help people with this knowledge. Some of my favorite types of media are the ones that give an insight about the person/persons they are made by or for. I particularly enjoy psychological thrillers like 1986s Manhunter.
My Style:
Truthfully i enjoy studying and analyzing media much more than i enjoy creating it. This coupled with my (up to last year) spontaneous style of learning has created a kind of unique style. I like visual and auditive mediums the most but i find that writing and drawing (not animation) are the ones that i am best suited to creating myself. Even though i am not yet fully confidant in my ability to write my tutors and family seem to disagree.
Previous Work:
In this category i can only name the nature magazine i created for my AS level. I wanted to make something that only i could and writing about the various environmental organizations of my home city was just that thing. I really enjoyed making it even though it was hard and messy at times. I believe it turned out good and despite its difficulty i feel that it conveyed its intended message well.
Here are some of the things i worked on last year:
