AS level Project magazine making of different covers

After i got the general idea of the cover done i decided to experiment with a few different backgrounds. However it was obvious that its had to be green but i didn't know what kind of green. As the google earth image already had a particular color i decided to use that as the primary bases for the magazine cover.

I also changed the font types.

During this time i believed that i needed to give a new shape to the title. I was inspired by the beginning sequence of the original star wars movies to give the impression that going green is getting closer to the world.

I tried different colored fonts for the side of the cover (white and black versions for the key words). It was fine and starting to get somewhere. But i felt it was too plane and scholastic for a magazine. So i experimented with different background textures.

The wood texture didn't seem quite correct with the "Go Green" motif that i have been going with so far so i tried grass instead and found the perfect cover.

I also went with the white font on the side as it was more visible against the grass. I believe that with some later modifications this could be the final cover of the magazine.
