AS level Project Magazine Optimizing the cover

After my last post about the covers i asked for feedback from my media studies tutor. She told me how to make the covers resemble actual magazines more. So i put her feedback to use and started designing the covers.

First Version: Per her instructions i went with a more minimalist title font, which i moved to the top with moving around other parts of the cover like the logo as well.

Second version: I was not sure about the tilted title so i put it in a straight horizontal position. I also put the volume number underneath it. I am happy with these changes as i believe it makes the magazine look much more professional.

Third Version: Not much of a change but i found the complete blackness of the title font distracting so i changed it to a dark shade of green. This is not only in much more harmony with the rest of the cover but it also fits well with the "Go Green" theme i've got going on.
