A level project script ideas

As the deadlines draw closer and closer i started thinking about ideas for how i will be scripting the short film. I would like it to be vary narration focused and so i would want the script to carry as much of the information as it can and as is necessary. An idea i had is that since the short is required to be no more than 5 minutes long i could allocate a segment roughly corresponding to a single minute of the shorts duration to specific topics. Of course i am not planning to talk about each of these segments for exactly 60 seconds each however this gives the production an intuitive and digestible structure that i find would appeal to a wider demographic. The following is the segment ideas and an explanation as to what they would contain.

Segment 1) Introduction: As the first part this would contain the title card of the short together with a basic explanation of Romania, its geography, its human/bear population, etc.

Segment 2) Specific Encounters: This is where i would mention specific instances of interactions between bears and humans/human settlements. I have three instances in mind: When a bear entered my family friends backyard, When a bear entered the Tîrgu Mureș zoo and killed a couple of animals there, And when a 19 year old girl was killed by a bear in July this year. As all three are differentiated by a bear interacting with a human living area, the second having a bear interact with a human structure (but not a living area), and the third having a human wonder into a bears habitat.

Segment 3) Explanation: In this segment i will give an explanation for the increased amount of contact between bears and humans in the country. Such as deforestation, food shortages, global warming, etc. All information will be properly sourced.

Segment 4) Currently Active Policy: Of course the government of Romania also has to addressee the issue, especially since there is a complete ministry for dealing with such issues. That being the Ministry of Environment or Ministeriul Mediului, Apelor, și Pădurilor (in Romanian). This part will explain their current attempts to deal with the issue and if they are successful or not.

Segment 5) Expert Opinion and Summery: As the last segment this part will explore the theoretical solutions that animal and environmental experts have come up with as well as summarize the information that has been previously presented.
